LASH EXTENSION
Lash Extensions Are One Of The Most Popular Ways To Fake A Fuller Flutter. During The Treatment, The Beautician Will Attach Synthetic Eyelashes To Your Natural Ones Using A Special Non-Irritant Glue. Typically, 80 To 140 Lashes Are Applied Per Eye. Depending On How The Lashes Are Applied, The Shape Of Your Eye Can Be Changed, And Your Existing Lashes Will Be Longer And Fuller. The Results Usually Last Four To Six Weeks.
LASH LIFT
While Lash Extensions Can Give A More Dramatic Look, A Lash Lift Requires Far Less Maintenance And Lasts Several Weeks Longer, And The Treatment Itself Is Quicker And Cheaper. Extensions Can Also Make Your Natural Lashes More Brittle, While A Lift Has No Adverse Effects.
if you're tossing up between lash lifts and lash extensions, there are a few things to consider:
first and foremost, the level of upkeep for both procedures differs quite a lot. If you're willing to be a lot more delicate with your lashes, brush them daily, avoid water and basically treat them like they're made of glass, then lash extensions are for you. Don't expect them to have as little upkeep as hair extensions do, because these are more delicate.
If you're more keen on a "just rolled out of bed with sky-high lashes but also want to go for a dunk in the pool" kind of situation, lash lifts are way more practical for you.
Lash extensions are always going to give a much more dramatic look than a lash lift can because it's adding volume as well as height and curl. However, they also can damage your lashes if you're not careful to maintain them well, so it's a big commitment to start getting them.
Lash lifts won't give you the voluminous effect unless you already have plenty of lashes, but you can always use individual falsies if you're determined just for an event.
The natural shape, direction, and thickness of your eyelashes will determine how dramatic your results are. If your lashes lie almost flat – or even point downwards – you’ll see a big difference after having a lifting treatment. Most women notice their eyes look more open, brighter, younger, and more ‘awake’ following their lash lift. Additionally, the eyelashes themselves will appear far longer, fuller, and more defined.
A lash lift is a chemical treatment. First, your beautician will discuss the procedure and process with you and answer any questions you may still have. Next, they will cleanse and separate your top and bottom lashes. The top lashes will be attached to a silicone patch on your eyelid and combed into place. Then, an eye-safe perming solution is applied. The process works similarly to a hair perm – the chemical solution breaks down the bonds in the eyelash, allowing it to change shape. After a few minutes, a setting solution will be applied to seal in the curl. The results last around 4-7 weeks, depending on your lash growth cycle.
It will take 60 minutes
It works on everyone. As long as you have eyelashes! Mostly women who do not like to wear mascara and curl their lashes opt for lash lift. Women who wish to have curlier and voluminous lashes opt for lash lift. A lash lift is a budget-friendly treatment and does not include much maintenance.
There are not many disadvantages associated with a lash lift and lash tint. Skin irritation, dry eye, allergies, and eye or skin sensitivities can occur. Blisters, rash, redness, watery eyes, inflammation, more brittle lash hair are some side effects. But honestly these cases are extremely rare. To date, we have never had a client have any reaction.
Speaking from experience, lash lifts are actually a very soothing experience with minimal (to no) discomfort. If you've got sensitive eyes or you don't like people coming close to them, there's only one part that may have you cringing.
Before the solution is applied, the lash artist will need to position two silicon pads on top of your lower lash line to keep your lower lashes out of the solution. Rest assured, it's only a few seconds of discomfort and it saves you a lot of grief from the possibility of your lower lashes curling upwards too.
Apart from that, the remainder of the treatment is very relaxing and you can keep your eyes closed the entire time. The only thing you're in danger of is falling asleep – and it's very tempting!
Our solution used, strengthens your lashes and reinforce them with keratin & nutrients.
There's no denying that lash lifts can be a costly process if you add up all the treatments over time. But that's really the key here: time. Our standard lash lift & tint is $125 per treatment.
This is one of those situations where you do wind up paying a bit more for quality, and given that it's your eyes it's definitely worth splurging a little extra. We offer after care products to keep up the results.
While it can certainly add up, comparatively it's pretty reasonable when you consider the cost of methods like lash extensions and falsies. One set of high-quality false lashes can cost you as much as $40 for single use, so the financial long-term benefit of lash lifts instead is notable.
Lash lifts are not always the same result from salon to salon or even person to person since we each have our own unique set so your results could look different even from your last visit to us. Your natural lashes are always growing and changing so your natural lashes will determine the shape and length you see after the service. If your lashes are not curly enough or are too curly we can do a secondary lift no less than 7 days later to correct either of those results.
Your lashes are still pliable and curing during the first 48 hours, so sleeping on them, getting them wet, excessive heat or steam can straighten your curled lashes and result in a re-lift. *if a re-lift is required you may be charged for this service
